Fun Fact- How Kent State became blue & yellow

                                        
Kent State's original school colors were purple and orange, and they had been since 1910. Some years later, the basketball team's uniforms were taken to the local cleaner. The hot water caused the uniforms to turn navy blue and yellow, and the team wore the uniforms to their next game. The students liked the new colors so much that they voted to change the school colors to navy and yellow. Kent State's colors are still navy blue and yellow today.

The Bears made another appearance on the "Uniforms of the Week" board, as they rocked their new mono-blue uni's in a win over Washington State last Saturday. The game was played at AT&T Park in San Francisco, CA.

Northwestern went mono-black on Saturday night versus Michigan. While the Wildcats won 'Best Uniform', the Wolverines won the game, 42-24 in Evanston.
